Realization of the production line of Surgical Masks
During the early stages of Covid, Emmetitech was called to design and realize a plant for the production of surgical masks. This plant consists of six identical production lines, fully robotized and designed specifically for the processing of such protective garments.
Plant Design
Emmetitech performed the global design of the factory, including:- Machine control systems for the six production lines.
- Architectural and civil adaptations of the host building.
- Indoor and outdoor lighting systems.
- Compressed air production, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
- Safety systems: fire detection, emergency lighting, fire and emergency doors.
- General electrical distribution and interconnections between the various components of the factory.
Automation Software for Production Lines
Emmetitech has developed PLC software for the management of individual production lines. After a detailed description of the operation, agreed with the machine manufacturer, the software fully automates the production process, from the loading of the fabric and metal wire to the packing of the masks, including sanitization, elastic attachment, folding and welding of the fabrics.Material supply and components
Emmetitech has also provided all the necessary material to ensure compliance with the laws and the proper functioning of the factory. This included lighting, fire detection, air conditioning and ventilation, auxiliary services and all assembly and connection materials.Realization Record Times
The greatest challenge was to realize the production plant of surgical masks as soon as possible. By working incessantly, Emmetitech managed to put the plant into service in record time, demonstrating dedication and competence in dealing with emergencies.Category: Industrial Plants
