In 2023, our company completed the design and construction of two JB joint cabinetsOne fixed and one mobile for a West Virginia American client. This project has embraced all phases, from the acquisition of initial inputs to final delivery. 

Project description Industrial Junction Box

The JB (Junction Box) cabinets in the industrial field are crucial components for the management of electrical connections. These cabinets, also known as junction boxes, are used to hold, protect and organize the terminations of electrical cables and connection devices. Industrial JB cabinets are essential to protect electrical connections from environmental and physical damage, ensure the organisation and accessibility of connections to facilitate maintenance and inspections, and improve safety by isolating connections to prevent accidents. They also serve to ensure compliance with electrical regulations and can be customized to suit various industrial needs. The contract entrusted to us included the design and construction of two JB cabinets, one fixed and one mobile, for an industrial plant in west virginia, essential for the efficiency of the shuttle and roller table. All this had to be done in accordance with American legislation.

Electric detail design

For the realization of these cabinets, we started from the phase of electrical detail design, where our electrical engineering team worked closely to ensure that the solutions proposed were aligned with the needs and specifications provided by the customer.

Material selection and procurement

The choice of materials has played a crucial role in the process, with a selection aimed at ensuring compliance with American regulations. We carefully coordinated purchases and managed orders with suppliers, ensuring that all necessary components were of high quality and readily available for construction.

Manufacture of JB cabinets and quality control

During the construction phase, we maintained high standards of quality and precision. Each wardrobe has been subjected to rigorous control to verify compliance with technical specifications and industry regulations. This step was essential to ensure the reliability and safety of finished products.

Logistics and delivery of JB cabinets

Once completed, we prepared the necessary documentation for transport and organized the logistics for the delivery of the cabinets to the customer in West Virginia, thus completing the project successfully.
